Guide, charter and outfitter websites that keep the calendar full

Flood Tide Digital designs and builds websites for fishing guides, charter captains, hunting outfitters and outfitter shops. We build trip and rate pages, species and season pages, booking paths that work on a phone, and online stores for shops. Pricing is starting at $4,000, and most builds take about 4 to 6 weeks from kickoff to launch.

The job

What a guide's website actually has to do

Most of your clients find you one of three ways: a friend, a search, or now an AI assistant. Either way, they land on your site to answer two questions. Is this the right trip for me, and can I get a date?

So the site has three jobs:

  1. 01

Show the trips. What you fish for, where, how long, and what it costs.

  2. 02

Prove you are the guide to fish with. Your story, real fish, real reviews.

  3. 03

Get a date on the calendar. A booking or date request that takes a minute on a phone.

The guides and outfitters who stay booked are not the ones with the fanciest site. They are the ones whose site answers the questions they used to answer by text every night.

Species pages

Species and season pages

Anglers and hunters search by species. "Tarpon fishing Islamorada" or "bonefish guide Keys" is how a lot of clients find a guide. A page for each target species, with when it is in season and how you pursue it, answers that search and tells the client what week to book.

Flyin' High Charters has pages for tarpon, permit, bonefish, backcountry, flats, light tackle and fly fishing. Each one is a door in from search.

Trips and rates

Trips and rates

Put your trips and rates on the site. Half day, full day, multi day hunts, how many anglers or hunters, what is included, what to bring, and where you meet. A client who can see the price and the plan books faster and shows up ready.

Outfitter shops

Outfitter shops: a store that sells

If you run a fly shop or outfitter shop, the site also has to sell gear. We build online stores on Shopify or Lightspeed. Lightspeed keeps the shop floor and the website on one inventory, and your guided trips are booked from the same site. KillerDock's Shopify store shows how we lay out collections so customers find the right gear fast.

Mobile booking

Booking that works on a phone

Most of your bookings start on a phone. Whether you use a booking app or a date request form, the path should take a minute: pick a trip, pick dates, send. We connect the booking tool you already use, or build a request form that sends you what you need to confirm.

Reviews

Reviews and the captain's story

Clients pick a guide as much as a trip. Put your face, your years on the water and real reviews where they help someone decide, not buried on an about page.

Questions, answered

FAQ

How much does a guide, charter or outfitter website cost?

Starting at $4,000. The price depends on how many pages you need and how much content we create with you.

How long does it take?

Most builds take about 4 to 6 weeks from kickoff to launch. That is typical, not a hard rule. The biggest variable is how quickly photos, trip details and decisions come back from your side.

I already book through a booking app. Do I still need a website?

A booking app takes payment. It does not tell a client why to fish with you, and it does not show up when someone searches for a species and a place. Your site does both, and it can hand off to the booking app you already use.

Can the site take bookings and deposits?

Yes. We connect the booking tool you already use, or build a date request form that sends you trip, dates and group size.

What should a fishing guide website include?

Your trips and rates, target species and seasons, where you meet, your story, real reviews, real fish photos, and a booking path that works on a phone.

Can I update trips, rates and photos myself?

Yes. We set the site up so you can edit trips, rates and photos from your phone or laptop.

Do you work with charter boats and guide services with several guides?

Yes. Guide services get a page per guide or boat, and booking requests route to the right person.

Do you build for hunting outfitters and outfitter shops?

Yes. Hunting outfitters get the same trip, season and booking setup, with licenses and tags covered. For shops, we build online stores on Shopify or Lightspeed, so you can sell gear and book trips from one site.
