Columbia Mountain Dog Ranch

Columbia Mountain Dog Ranch (then still Columbia Mountain Kennels) needed a site that could book stays and explain the ranch without making owners call or drive over. The old GoDaddy site was a dated template with weak titles like FACILITY and DayCare, no online booking, no contact form, and Lighthouse accessibility stuck at 83. On mobile, Largest Contentful Paint sat at 5.8 seconds. Visitors who wanted daycare, boarding, or ranch activities had to phone or stop by.

We built a new Astro site under the Columbia Mountain Dog Ranch brand at columbiamountaindogranch.com. Goose powers online booking from every Book Now CTA, and the contact page has a real inquiry form. The site walks owners through Daycare, Boarding, Ranch Activities, and Before Your Visit, with rates on the page and facility photography throughout, plus a high-res hero video on the homepage. Location-aware titles and metas cover a 9-page sitemap aimed at Columbia Falls, Glacier, and Flathead searches. At launch, Accessibility, Best Practices, and SEO each moved from 83, 96, and 92 to 100. Mobile performance went from 72 to 82, desktop held at 99, and Total Blocking Time dropped from 160 ms to 0.
