Project Overview
Florida Keys Outfitters is a historic fly shop with deep roots in the saltwater fly fishing world. Our job was to help them translate that legacy into a stronger digital footprint. We began with a full audit of their site structure, content, and technical SEO. From there, we optimized product pages, created brand-focused content silos (like Hardy Fly Rods and Tibor Reels), and developed new SEO-focused pages for core species like tarpon, permit, and bonefish.
Beyond SEO, we overhauled the shop’s email marketing approach—setting up biweekly campaigns, product spotlights, and seasonal sales tied to their Fly Fishing School. We also brought structure and consistency to social media planning, aligning visuals and messaging with the shop’s brand voice.
Throughout the engagement, we provided strategic direction on e-commerce UX, performance tuning, and content development to support both in-store traffic and online orders.

Results Overview
Florida Keys Outfitters saw increased organic traffic, stronger product rankings, and a noticeable bump in online orders—especially for core gear and branded merchandise. Email engagement improved significantly, helping them promote upcoming Fly School dates and seasonal promotions with more impact. With a more strategic digital system in place, FKO is now better positioned to serve the next generation of saltwater fly anglers.
